I teach writing courses online and do 1-1 coaching sessions, helping people that wants to overcome their writing blocks and get to know them selves through writing. I've created automated funnels where I sell my courses and I make around 10-15K/month. I also write books in Norwegian and English. erikainamerica.com is my english website.

I helped students at the institute of literature and language to choose the right subjects, to write academically and to finish their exams. I also arranged writing groups, and had done a survey to explore student’s motivation and plans for their study.

I wrote career interviews for the Department of Sociology and Human Geography, the Department of Economics and the Faculty of Law. I planned and carried out the interviews, transcribed and wrote them, collected photos, communicated with the interviewees and found new interviewees.

I held an informal and creative language and writing workshop weekly for students on the master's program in management informatics. I planned the teachings, conducted weekly workshops and followed up the students. In addition, I provided (plain) language guidance on student assignments in public administration informatics and in other law programmes.

Research Assistant, MultiLing, University of Oslo, 2021

I worked as a Research Assistant in the PhD project “Code-switching, language development and cognition in bilingual Norwegian-Spanish children” at the Center for Multilingualism in Society Across de Lifespan. My main tasks involved the recruitment of child participants and subsequent data collection in the Socio- Cognitive Laboratory. I collected data in Norwegian and Spanish from children aged 5-7 years old. Data collection entailed a familiarization phase with both the parents and the child, and the administration of linguistic and cognitive tests in either or both languages.

As a freelancer I help and guide clients with language, writing, proofreading and translation. I also wrote a book about "burn outs in the modern working life" with a grant from the Norwegian Non-Fiction Writers and Translators Association (NFFO). I also wrote chronicles and articles in various newspapers, blogs and magazines.

Project leader, The Climate Festival §112, 2017-2018

I ensured good coordination and implementation of the festival by leading meetings, contacting and recruiting contributors, creating the events on websites and in social media and assisting with help where it was needed.

Research Assistant, University of Oslo, 2016–2017

I collected and coded data, transcribed interviews across various projects, and handled translation and editing of journal articles. I was responsible for planning, administration, and recruitment for both internal and external seminars, as well as producing newsletters, updating websites, and managing a range of logistical tasks. From September 2016 to April 2017, I worked as an editorial assistant for the journal Northern Lights. My responsibilities included proofreading and editing, organizing manuscript workflows, managing correspondence, participating in Skype meetings with the editors, and ensuring consistency in style and references.

I designed brochures to the subject Climate Change journalism, I recruited new students, I kept in touch with and helped the students, planned lectures and various research- and administrative tasks.
